2024 Educators Seminar Series

High school teachers and administrators are invited to join the ABA, Supreme Court Historical Society, and McGeorge School of Law for a series of half-day seminars diving into civic discourse and how to integrate civic education into your lesson plans. Hear from federal judges and legal experts about how the legal system continues to evolve and the impact it has on today’s society.

The 2024 Educators Seminar is coming soon! Check back here for more details regarding the Spring 2024 half-day session on April 13 at McGeorge School of Law and the Summer 2024 half-day session at the Kennedy Learning Center on June 18. A third half-day session will be held in Fall 2024 at McGeorge School of Law, date TBD.

Schedule a Field Trip to the Matsui U.S. Courthouse!

Teachers are welcome to bring in students of all ages to experience the federal courthouse! Observe a live hearing in a courtroom, hear from judges, attorneys, the U.S. Marshals Service, and law students about what makes the law so important, take a guided tour of the courthouse, or even participate in a scripted mock trial (various scripts are available dependent on student age). Self-guided tours are also welcome.
